New HQ for Mila Maintenance and Installation

Mila Maintenance and Installation has moved into its new headquarters on the newly built Nexus Business Park in Barnsley. The move coincides with the restart of operations following the Covid-19 outbreak and is a timely boost to morale and confidence for customers and staff alike.

Speaking about the move, Managing Director Tristan Cooke said “the move to a new headquarters had been on the cards for some time; we wanted to consolidate all our administration and contract management functions in one place, rather than them being spread across multiple regional offices, and our intention is very much for this to be a Centre of Excellence from which our customers will receive outstanding service”.

Obviously none of us could have foreseen what has just happened, but we took the decision very early to press on with the completion of the building, while being respectful of government guidelines on social distancing, and I have to say a huge thanks to all the contractors and members of the internal team who attended site and worked in such a responsible and collaborative way – it has been a great example of teamwork.

It was great to see and means that the building was completed on time…

It will enable us to return our staff from furlough directly into the new facility which will provide a boost to confidence and morale for us all.

The new 7.200 sq. ft facility nearly doubles the space we had in our previous building and provides additional capacity for storage of essential parts which are due to go to site.

We are also planning to develop a training area for our site and office based staff to increase their knowledge and expertise even further as we strive to become the number 1 specialist contractor for window & door repair, maintenance & installation solutions in the sectors we serve. After a very strange few months it is a really exciting time ahead.

Stay Safe, Secure and Warm.
